Disco Volante is the second studio album by American experimental rock band Mr. It was released on October 10, 1995, through Warner Bros, and is considered to be the most experimental of all their albums, mixing elements from such varied styles as death metal, jazz, Arabic music, musique concrète, easy listening and even tango. Many of the songs are instrumental or feature wordless vocals. Una recopilación de temas en vivo del segundo álbum de estudio de Mr. Bungle, el gran Disco Volante. Song List: 01. The sophomore album by Californias experimental group Mr. This was released through Warner Bros Records on October 10th, 1995. It follows their debut by 4 years. It would be followed up just short of four years on July 1999s California. This album also marked the end of one of Mr. Bungles core members, Theo Lengyel, for conflicts about his role in the band. Disco Volante is a 1995 album by the band Mr. It is by far the most experimental of all their productions as it picks up inspirations from a wide variety of musical styles, including death metal, techno, 50s space age pop, Musique concrète and Italian avantgarde. Disco Volante usually demands a few listens for the subtleties and detail to really kick in, while the first listen will likely leave you confused, bewildered, and possibly entertained. The album's production is unconventional in every aspect. Musical references, recording quality, vocabulary virtually every sound on thi. It was actually hidden and the needle needed to be placed correctly on the vinyl. The LP was issued with a bonus 7 of Secret Chiefs 3 material, under a slightly different name. Bungle: American experimental rock band from Northern California. Known for a highly eclectic style, the band often cycles through several musical genres within the course of a single song, including heavy metal, avant-garde jazz, ska, disco, and funk. Many Mr. Bungle songs had an unconventional structure and utilized a wide array of instruments and samples. Live shows often featured members dressing up and an array of cover songs. Pink Cigarette, Retrovertigo, Goodbye Sober Day и другие песни. Bungle is the musical equivalent of a David. On its uncompromising second release, Disco Volante, the group focuses its sound a bit more than on its 1991 self-titled debut but still keeps things unruly and completely unpredictable. This is a band whose sole purpose is to break all the pre-existing rules of music and doesn't think twice about taking chances. What they've created in the process is a totally original and new musical style and an album that sounds like nothing that currently exists. I think this is the most shred material they ever put out, and the shreds are the most shred I have ever heard. This is probably due to the balance of genres and overall talent. Bungle has a lot of fun with this album. Some of the material is comical, but there is a heavy presence of FSU instrumentation. Read more

Undoubtedly the greatest and weirdest major label release of all time. I can't believe Warner Brothers put this out at the same time as dealing with shit like the Chili Peppers.
A very strange and surreal album, lots of oddball jazz, surf, ambient atmospherics, middle eastern techno and a bit of classic Spruance Death Metal at the end. The best album Mr. Bungle did. Anyone who like the absurd should get a copy of this. I don't know what the guy is saying about remasters, i haven't heard the new vinyl but the CD is perfect and a remaster would destroy the feeling.
