This conceptual piece calls for a koto the size is not specified and gyroscopes. The artifacts are set in motion to make the strings resonate. They also rub against them as they stop turning, the resulting friction bringing to mind faulty breaks on a rusty bicycle. The idea is original and very daring considering the aura of respect surrounding the instrument.
